Lucas was raised in Manchester and graduated from West Delaware High School. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training with a minor in Biology from Clarke University.

He then continued his education at Clarke University, graduating in 2019 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While completing his physical therapy degree, Lucas worked as an athletic trainer for multiple Clarke University athletic teams. Lucas has also earned the designation as a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS).

In his free time, Lucas enjoys spending time with his wife Miranda, their son Will, and their two Goldens. Outside of work, you will find Lucas drag racing with his family, working on cars with his brothers, riding his motorcycle, or fishing.
