Smiling Student Outdoors

Student Summer Internship

We offer one PAID summer internship at each of our clinic locations. This is for juniors and seniors in college who are interested in going to PT school after graduation. 

​

Duties:

  • students will help with laundry, scheduling, and cleaning

  • students will help with intakes for new patients

  • students will shadow seasoned PTs and help with providing treatment at their supervisor's discretion

  • students will take initiative around the gym to help staff and patients around the clinic with small tasks like ambulatory assistance, changing beds, setting up equipment, cleaning equipment, etc.

Benefits: 

  • the opportunity to learn from seasoned therapists with a wealth of knowledge

  • the opportunity to learn about specialty areas like neuro, pelvic floor health, and sports injuries

  • continuing education 

  • networking with well-connected providers in the area

Student Giving Presentation

Student Observer

We offer unpaid student observation hours at all of our clinic locations on a rolling basis. This is for upperclass high school (i.e., juniors and seniors) and underclass college students (i.e., freshmen and sophomores). You will work with your assigned PT supervisor to find a schedule and hours that work best for you and the clinic.

Duties:

  • students will help with laundry, scheduling, and cleaning

  • students will help with intakes for new patients

  • students will shadow PT supervisor

  • students will take initiative around the gym to help staffand patients with small tasks like ambulatory assistance, changing beds, setting up eqipment, cleaning, equipment, etc.

​

Benefits:

  • the opportunity to explore career paths in physical therapy. We have staff that are physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and athletic trainers that can all speak to their experience in the field.

  • the opportunity to explore specialty areas in the field of physical therapy. We have several staff that are passionate about specialty areas such as pelvic floor health, neuro, chronic pain, and sports medicine. 

  • access to continuing education

  • networking with well-connected providers in the area
